Affordable Housing Loan Program

The Gateway Cities Affordable Housing Trust’s Affordable Housing Loan Program provides gap financing for new affordable housing developments in the Gateway Cities region. To date, the Trust has had two Notices of Funding Availability (NOFAs) making a total of $10.2 million available for affordable housing in the subregion. Capital funding sources for the Trust NOFAs come from a combination of sources, including Homeless Initiative and Permanent Local Housing Allocation funds through the Gateway Cities Council of Governments, and the Local Housing Trust Fund Program through the California Department of Housing and Community Development. The Trust will issue additional NOFAs in the future as funding become available.
