The Gateway Cities Affordable Housing Trust (GCAFT) was formed in 2023 to help address the region’s housing needs. To date, twenty-one cities have joined the Trust, making it the largest regional effort addressing the ongoing housing crisis in Los Angeles County.
Mission
The mission of the Gateway Cities Affordable Housing Trust is to support the production and preservation of affordable housing through financing, regional collaboration, and technical assistance that help member cities and project partners expand housing opportunities for individuals and families within member cities throughout the Gateway Cities region.

The vision of the Gateway Cities Affordable Housing Trust is to create a region with abundant affordable housing opportunities that support strong, vibrant communities and improve the quality of life for individuals and families within member cities.
