Affordable Housing Loan Program
The Gateway Cities Affordable Housing Trust’s Affordable Housing Loan Program provides gap financing for new affordable housing developments in the Gateway Cities region. To date, the Trust has had two Notices of Funding Availability (NOFAs) making a total of $10.2 million available for affordable housing in the subregion. Capital funding sources for the Trust NOFAs come from a combination of sources, including Homeless Initiative and Permanent Local Housing Allocation funds through the Gateway Cities Council of Governments, and the Local Housing Trust Fund Program through the California Department of Housing and Community Development. The Trust will issues additional NOFAs in the future as funding become available.
The deadline for applications is March 15, 2024 at 5:00pm. The online application form is available HERE.
An applicant meeting will be held on February 13th from 1:00-2:30pm on Zoom. This applicant meeting is not mandatory. Interested developers may register for the meeting here.
